It’s time to enroll. Come back to HealthCare.gov today!

Published on March 6, 2014

As we head into the final weeks of open enrollment, HealthCare.gov and CuidadoDeSalud.gov are ready to serve you. We all deserve the security and the peace of mind that comes from having health coverage that we can count on when we need it most. And we continue to make the application process easier for you.

Here are some of the ways we’ve improved the consumer experience, especially mindful of the complex family situations that members of the immigrant community may face in particular:

We know that many immigrant families are of “mixed status,” with members having different immigration and citizenship statuses. Some families may have members who can’t buy health insurance through the Marketplace, alongside other family members who are eligible to use the Marketplace, like lawfully present immigrants.

We encourage you to apply for health coverage and get coverage for those in your family that are eligible. Personal information in your Marketplace application won’t affect your immigration status. Enrolling in health coverage – and using the health insurance that this important law extends to eligible individuals – will not prevent your loved ones who are undocumented from getting a green card in the future or who do not yet have a green card at risk.
With our many partners in communities across the country, we’re committed to making sure you get the quality, affordable health coverage you need. Remember, your last chance to enroll for 2014 coverage is March 31. Don’t let this important opportunity for affordable health care for you or members of your family pass.

We don’t want you to miss your opportunity to get affordable health coverage as soon as possible. Your last chance to enroll for 2014 coverage is March 31.
